My favorite place on campus is actually the place where I am writing this right now- the commons 1st floor! Ever since I first arrived on campus, I have always enjoyed going to the commons for a few reasons; it has the best chairs on campus, a fireplace (an essential now that it’s winter), and the pub, of course, (where I have spent a lot of money, but enjoy all the same!) But with all these, what I enjoy most about the commons isn’t the space itself, but the environment it creates. It’s a place where I feel the most comfortable, a place where I can study, get my work done, but also take the time to see and connect with the people I know. It allows me to feel a sense of belonging on campus, and it is where I feel the most at home!
